Welcome to Nate Traylor, our new Youth Director for Unashamed Synergy

My name is Nate Traylor. My wife, Emma and I got married at the end of June this year and are kicking off our married life together working in ministry at First United Methodist Church. I come from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, VA where I have been an active member my whole life up until this point in time when I moved up here. My father, Joel Traylor, is an elder at my childhood church. I am finishing up my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Christian Counseling online at Liberty University. Some of my favorite things in to do are, reading, theatre, worshiping, and spending time at home with my wife and three pets. My wife, Emma, is from McKinney Texas where she was raised in a Bible Church and in Messianic Synagogue. She also graduated with a 4.0 with her Bachelor of Arts in studio art. Being married to such a fun-loving, creative, and Godly woman is the biggest blessing I have in life after my relationship with Jesus.

The reason I feel the call to youth ministry, is because everywhere I turn God keeps blessing me through it. It is the one thing that I do that makes me happy and I know I can honor God by doing it. Since high school I always dreamed of becoming a youth pastor and this new role I am taking on is simply an answer to lifelong prayer of knowing how to best use my talents to further the Kingdom of God.

I cannot wait to get know every single one of you in the Church. My wife and I have had our socks blessed clean off by the support of this community and it has only been a few weeks since we moved here.

We are looking forward to working with and getting to know you all and we have already begun to make a ton of friends.

May God bless you.

 In Christ’s grip,

-Nate Traylor
